Founded in Canada in 1991, Zoom Media opened its first office in the United States in 1997 and quickly expanded from its New York headquarters to Chicago and Los Angeles. After initially building out the Social Network, Zoom added Experiential Marketing capabilities in 2002, the Fitness Network in 2003, The Active Family Network in 2004 and Zoom Forward in 2008.
In 2008, Zoom acquired the Insite division of Alloy Media + Marketing as well as ClubCom, the world’s largest provider of digital video entertainment to the fitness industry.
Zoom adds three major chains globally to ZoomFitness:
First Nielsen Fourth Screen Report released featuring the ZoomFitness Video Network and the ZoomSocial Video Network. The Fourth Screen Report provides comprehensive, standardized audience reporting for the Digital Place-based industry.
Zoom acquires Sports Display Inc (SDI), a California-based OOH media company with a network of thousands of sports and fitness venues across the U.S. and Canada.
Zoom adds Retro Fitness to ZoomFitness.
